Setting Sun

Lately, I've been so awestruck and taken back by the sunset. Even if I catch two minutes of it, my mind and body feel electrified and recharged. Standing on cold grass, feeling the warmth of the setting sun, while capturing the view of a hot pink and tangerine sky. It's invigorating. Especially after a long, stressful day, nothing is better than watching a sunset. The special part is when it goes dark, and the sky goes purple, then the black silhouettes of trees and mountains come into view. I always get the urge to take a thousand pictures, because none of them ever look the same. This time of day is perfect for reflection, to give gratitude, and visualize abundance for yourself. It's such a special few moments, to ground yourself with your soul and the earth. So the next time the sun sets, take the time to enjoy it for yourself :)

Make A Statement

A week or so ago I went to the mall, and I might add I DROVE myself there. Alone. Just me and my dad’s car. I have to say it was a very thrilling experience and it was one of those moments where I felt like an adult, and there was something so cool about that moment. I remember when I was younger daydreaming about driving myself places, and now that that moment is finally here it made me reflect on how much I’ve grown and changed over the years. Its crazy that it’s almost time for me to start thinking about buying my own apartment.

Anyway lets stop getting emotional and reflective and actually get on with this post haha! So after I excitedly got out of my car and congratulated myself on arriving at the mall, I walked into forever 21 looking for dainty simple necklaces. They ended up not having any which surprised me, but they did have 2 beautiful statement necklaces, which are pictured above. I don’t have many of these, so I thought it would be good to add a couple to my jewelry collection. I have been wearing both of them like crazy and getting compliments every time. I love that I can throw them on with any outfit and it instantly looks like I tried 10 times harder.

The two simpler necklaces I purchased at PacSun. I love this store for their jewelry because it’s so cute and boho-ish. I wanted to get a few bracelets but ended up feeling guilty and put them back haha. I especially like the necklace with the hansa hand and elephant, because I connect with those symbols spiritually :)

Back to School Style Inspiration♡

As you can see I'm really into the neutrals and ripped denim right now haha. Since I'm going back to school (as in a public school, no more online, eeeep!) I get to get all pumped up for buying new school clothes. But I've needed some inspiration and I keep finding myself getting pulled towards simple outfits with delicate jewelry. I'm even loving the bohemian look a LOT. 

I've never really had an edgy style before but I guess that's just what I'm evolving into. I really admire the ripped denim high-waisted shorts, because you can pretty much style them up or down. And I need to get my hands on a nice pair of white sneakers desperately. Because who doesn't own a nice pair of sneakers? me. *straight emoji face*

Also, the whole crop top frenzy is really getting to me. A couple months ago I didn't even bother to like them, but I've literally scrolled through hundreds of different cropped shirts, and I can't believe I'm saying it but I love them...and I want to go and buy stacks of them haha! I know I'm not the only one ;)
