Forever 21, H&M and Urban Outfitters Haul

This weekend I was feeling super spendy and while I kind of feel guilty, I really truly need new clothes. It's almost spring and I'm just starting to buy my winter seaters. Like?!! No. Thats not okay! Anyway, I got some money from Christmas, and I couldn't hold on to it anymore haha. So I spent about 2 hours walking around this new Forever 21 store they opened at my mall, and let me tell you, its huuuuge. It's kind of overwhelming at times, especially if you're not in the mood to shop. But I was and I was picking out certain pieces that I wouldn't normally gravitate towards. I've been trying to switch up my style or find what I really like, because I just feel a little lost. Sometimes I feel girly, other times I feel grunge/urban, sometimes I feel more casual…its kind of annoying! Does anyone have some tips on how to find your style? I need them desperately.

I only picked up a few things, but as you can see they are all sweaters, besides the beanies. And they are all fuzzy too! I don't know whats with me. I'm excited to wear the fuzzy pink sweater, i think its girly but its edgy, and I think it would look good with my high leather boots and a statement necklace.

I'm new to beanies, but I have always wanted to wear them and incorporate them into my wardrobe, so I forced myself to buy some. I already wore the black one to school once and got many complements on how I looked with it, so that made me feel good! And that goes back to feeling more casual on some days.

Anytime I go shopping I always pick up a necklace or two, and I found these beautiful ones at Urban. It kills me to pay a little more, but cmon they are gorgeous!! And I love the one with the crescent moon, that is my absolute favorite symbol.

Well this ended up being longer than expected haha! Hope you don't mind :-) How would you style these pieces??

Those Brows Though

On Saturday I drove down to an outdoor shopping center where there is my local Sephora...yeah I think you know where this is going. I picked up my first ever Anastasia Brow Wiz in Ebony because my brows are basically almost black. I was trying it out in the store and absolutely loved it. Ever since getting my eyebrows waxed, they have looked so thin and sparse, which isn't normal for me as I usually have really thick brows. So I mean basically I talked myself into buying it! I used it for the first time yesterday and I'm not gonna lie I kept looking in the mirror and just staring at my face. Filling in my brows, which is something I don't usually do, totally changes the look of my face and I can't believe I hadn't started doing this earlier on. Especially since I watch so many beauty vloggers on youtube!! What is wrong with me? In the picture above, I had barely put any of it on because I was afraid I would look like a crazy mad man haha, so that's why they still look a little thin. Later though I added more with the confidence I gained and LOVED it lol ;)

The rest of the weekend is kind of a blur to me. It went bye so fast, I feel like I didn't have time to do anything. I went job hunting and looked at a couple of stores that I thought I wanted to work in, like Urban Outfitters and Forever 21, but the people that worked there seemed really nasty and not very nice, and I wouldn't want to hate where I work or feel put down. I've been thinking about it a lot and I think it would be so fun to work in a restaurant, especially since I love food and being around a lot of people. What do you think? Do any of you work in a restaurant and can give me any advice? Haha :)

I hope everyone has a good week, oh and I have no school today or tomorrow...But since I've been sick I haven't been in school for three weeks soooo.....I guess it doesnt really matter anymore 0_0

Mother Daughter Day

Since I'm on my fall break (yeeeeee) my mom and I decided to travel up north in the spur of the moment. We just thought, why the heck not? Where I live, if you travel up north, it's like a completely different state. There are gorgeous bright red rocks, thousands and thousands of acres of trees and greenery, and beautiful little shopping centers where you could spend hours just walking around, which is what we did!

We ended up stopping for lunch at a beautiful little organic raw vegan cafe called The ChocolaTree, which is my kinda food haha! ;) They grow their own food right in the garden outside, which was covered with little lights and even a serene waterfall, ah it was so relaxing. The meal was delicious, we even ended up taking some home because they gave us so much. I ordered an amazing salad galled "the green goddess" with marinated kale, sprouts, seeds, humus, avocado, and cucumber. My mom ordered the Kale Quinoa, which was shredded kale, cabbage, carrots, quinoa, dressing, and I dont even know what else but it was delicious haha!

The weather was sooooo nice outside. It was sunny, but at the same time breezy and kinda cloudy so it was perfect for walking around. We went into some little shops and picked out things we wish we would buy at that moment (kinda fun but kinda depressing!!) Where we walked around was absolutely breathtaking, it felt like we were in Italy or somewhere old like that in Europe. The buildings are covered with intricate carvings, old spanish tiles, huge carved wood doors and gigantic pillars. It got too dark to get pictures but I really wish I was able to. Even the fountains that are placed all over the area are magnificent to stare at.

Anyway, I had such a great time with my mom. I love when I get to have days like that with her, where my dad or brothers don't get in the way haha ;) She's my best friend and when we are able to be alone it's a lot easier to talk about stuff with her, ya know what I mean?
